What is a WebQuest?
It is an inquiry-based lesson that takes the student through various pages on the internet to seek out specific information--generally an over-arching question that will be answered by completing the webquest. Students get the opportunity to see the first hand sources, take in the information, synthesize it, and draw conclusions based on the information they came across in their quest!
WebQuests can be long term, spanning several days or weeks. And they can also be a shorter version that spans one class period.
